I have been experimenting with hydroponics lately, just planted the first column with strawberries. The 12V pump with solar panel and accumulator I brought from Germany. The idea is that the goldfish in the pond (6 of them, but they don’t like to be photographed) supply nutrients for the strawberries in the column where the water is pumped through inert media, clay balls and pummes mix, at the same time being the biological filter for the fish pond.
So far so good, waiting for the strawberries now.

the panel and pump are just a small part, the pipe is from a greek company that just went bust, the sun is luckily still free, the fish are from a greek company that has to downsize, however this is the time for new ideas.
