another installment of combining a simple shirt/dress from L**l with 2 20 year old mini-dresses. The dress was shortened, pockets added (I don’t know how one can have a dress without pockets?) and the belt discarded. Interesting is the material the dress is made of, called Lyocell made of wood-pulp. I might yet print the dress as well but still have to do some testing on scraps, seeing that I have never used it before.
Bought the dress while my water-lilies were in bloom, so maybe was influenced there.
finally everything has established itself in the new pond. Water lilies and one stunning water lily.
over Easter on Euboea these giant moths metamorphosed and sat drying their wings in the sun. This one hasn’t extended its antennas yet the next…
has full reception.
when renovating our bathroom we finally managed to take out that silly Jacuzzi tub, transport it down to the terrace and replace the old flowerpot pond there. All it needed now was a new surround covering the weird shape of it. Marine plywood painted with 2K boat paint, Lino print for that baroque feel, and two waterproof solar LEDs found on sale.
the skirt is marine ply on the straight bit and Styrofoam ceiling trim for the curved part.
now all I have to do is wait for the water lillies to come up and the iris to grow back to their previous size. (and maybe paint that water spout)
same concept, move your panel with the sun for maximum efficiency, although, what took us so long?
Sunday outing to discover the area around Alexandroupoli where I have been staying a lot lately. Found this river below a 11th century cave church and was invited to a picnic below old plane trees. All amazing.
