finally got around to putting together an idea I’ve had for a while, combining low energy LEDs with earrings. So here’s the first one: the plexiglas with parrot was bought at the jewellery supplies, the parrot printed on one side only and fairly faint, white at the back, so I painted the back side with stronger colors and turned it to the front. The LED including battery holder comes from some birthday balloons that lit up when inflated I had bought some years ago. The orange casing for the electrics is a cut open, dyed silkworm cocoon from Soufli in Northern Greece where silk is still produced.
