earlier this year I posted this photo
after a forest fire that hit our whole valley last Thursday the spot now looks like this
on the whole we were lucky, the house and most of the garden survived like an island of green in a black landscape.

It could have been worse. And …..at least the house survived intact! Unlike a house I used to love in Skiathos!

it is a blog thing, so one can keep unwanted commentators out of one’s blog. Regarding taking my shoes off with my hands over my head, I am practicing and will send out an invitation when the feat is accomplished.
