My blog has been asleep for a year, since my mother’s 100th birthday actually. Too busy to make and post, but now I’m back.

At the end of 2024 a friend let me have three carpenter made barstools from a 50′ apartment. They were impossible to sit on with their center of gravity much too high and the footprint too small, but lovely legs.

So I turned them into three usable pieces using my sculpture techniques. Here are the first two, one side table and a stable bar stool.

The lamp is part children’s music stand from a charity shop and an old office lamp.
